Anniversaries

When: Last Thursday night, for the 1 year anniversary party at Willow, a store I adore. 

Just a quick update on goings on lately.  Last Thursday I was excited to attend an anniversary party for Willow a new higher end fashion clothing and accessory store in Boulder that carries some of my favorite brands such as Equipment for gorgeous silk shirts and Milly for impeccable dresses.  So of course the week before the party I began designing an outfit that would be appropriate for the event.  Here in the land of high end hippies there is a fine line between being over dressed & under dressed. And you almost always want to be a little less over dressed in this town, so I stuck to what I felt most comfortable in, jeans.  Not only jeans, but my favorite color as well, which works out perfectly since one of the trends carrying over from last year into Fall 2014 is pastel pink.  And what doesn't dress up a pair of jeans like a few huge rhinestones?  It's all a balance of proportions.

If you are in Boulder this weekend, you should also check out Cedar & Hyde another great men's and women's clothing store with beautiful items from across the U.S. and beyond.  They are the only place in Colorado you can try on Imogene + Willie jeans as well.  Cedar & Hyde will be having their first anniversary party this next Saturday, Ocober 11th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  I'll be there you should to!
