Stripes and sequins may have to be one of my greatest weak spots when shopping. So when I spotted this flower overlay skirt with blue and white stripes peeking through I was almost sold. Then I saw the Made in Italy tag and it followed me home from the consignment store for a mere $30.
Consignment shopping can be tricky sometimes when you're not sure what you buying is worth the price the store is asking. This is also true for Thrift stores. I have found it exceptionally helpful to whip out my smartphone, while hiding in the dressing room and look up the brand of clothing I think I might be about to purchase. It's helpful to see what generally an item is worth this way, so you can make the judgement call as to whether or not it should have a new home in your closet.
